Spring time music and new awakenings.
We were awoken this first day of Spring morning by the enchanting beating of drums. Chris got up and went out to find a man and a boy peacefully creating music, he grabbed the camera and careful not to interrupt he snapped this photo. Wonderful hubby that he is, he made the coffee as I got dressed and joined him.
They sang some songs too. Then they brought out the didgeridoo, such beautiful sounds to commence the first day of spring.
As they were leaving Chris asked them if this had anything to do with the Spring Equinox and indeed it does. The fellas are father and son, two Edgar’s. The father explained (loosely translated) that the music brings amor (love) and harmony together to all. Chris pointed to the hearts painted on the casa and told them that we are Villa Amor del Mar.

And then this feller landed on one of our banana leafs and serenaded us. What a delightful morning.
